Indiana Poets Celebrate April, National Poetry Month

Each year students across Indiana participate in the national Poetry Out Loud competition. Sponsored locally by the Indiana Arts Commission, the Indiana Poetry Out Loud state championship brings student poets across Indiana together to celebrate the power of poetry. The IAC offers amazing resources for teachers to use poetry in their classroom, hear from past student winners, and connect with other schools who are celebrating student artists.
