Thinking Classrooms Year-long Virtual Collaboration

Connecting thinking classrooms across the globe

Implementing the work of Peter Liljedahl, author of Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics, engage with Math, Literacy, and other content area educators from all over the world.  Share and learn from teachers doing the work, creating their own thinking spaces.  These 5 half days will be filled with discussion, ideas, helpful hints, and tried and true solutions to help you on your journey toward a thinking classroom of your own.

Who should attend?

Math, Literacy, and any teachers wanting to implement thinking strategies in their own classrooms. Instructional coaches may also benefit if they work with teachers implementing the strategies.

What to Expect

Each session will be a two-hour block of collaboration, sharing, and learning.  Participants will spend some time in breakout rooms with other teachers in their content area and also with teachers at a similar level, such as middle school.  Participants will be encouraged to share resources, lesson plans, and ideas as we come together to build our own thinking classrooms.
