Dr. Sheila Ruth Akinleye received a Ph.D in Educational Administration from Indiana State University in 2016 and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marian University in 2010. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tuskegee University and has been a teacher for 14 years. Dr. Akinleye was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana though she has lived in several states in the US and traveled internationally. She and her husband have three children. Her hobbies are gardening and playing the cello.
