PebbleGo for Student Accessibility and Engagement – Digital Learning Grant

The Indiana DOE has recently opened the 2022 Digital Learning Grant. We will share how PebbleGo by Capstone can support all strands of the grant through technology integration, flexible learning opportunities to support Universal Design for Learning, and assistive technology. At PebbleGo, we know that students need engaging, standards-supportive digital content and tools that foster curiosity and learning across multiple learning styles. That digital content should be inclusive and remove barriers to learning for students of all abilities. It should address the needs of English language learners and meet the the highest Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 AA standards so that it has assistive technology both built-in and supported. Students need multiple pathways to demonstrate understanding in a digital environment and teachers need new formative assessment tools to evaluate student understanding and growth, as well as training on best practices with those tools.
