Using a Sentence to Make a Silent Film – an activity for all

Without music and dialogue, silent films are basically just photographs. So, where do you put the camera? Let’s explore how to (among other things) pull context clues from a sentence and how close-ups are the adjectives of photography/films to create a series of images to make a silent film. Students can do this with a cellphone camera or iPad/tablet.
