KINLCon Speaker Proposals
Proposal submissions are now open for our Keep Indiana Learning (KINL) summer event – CIESC Presents KINLCon2026: Link, Lead, Learn! Our goal is to bring educators from Indiana and beyond together to shape the future of teaching and learning. We know you have incredible work to share and wonderful classroom, school, and district stories to tell that will inspire others – and we want to include you in our two-day program!
We ask for proposals embodying our primary goals for participants for the two-day conference:
Champion Educators and Their Practice
Keep educators at the center by celebrating their voices, honoring their expertise, and providing a respectful, collaborative environment that highlights authentic classroom practice and the incredible work happening in schools across Indiana and beyond.
Deliver Impactful, Relevant Learning
Provide professional learning experiences that are grounded in real work happening in schools, relatable, and immediately applicable—empowering educators with actionable strategies that enhance teaching and learning.
Cultivate Connection and Continuous Growth
Foster collaboration and reflection across roles and districts, creating meaningful opportunities for networking, shared learning, and sustained professional growth.
This conference is designed for all school community members.
Sessions will be 45 minutes or 75 minutes in length. All proposals are due by February 9th, 2026 and acceptance letters will be sent by April 30th, 2026.
We have designed three strands for the conference, emphasizing collaboration (Link), leadership (Lead), and professional growth (Learn). Within these strands, you might present on any content area or classroom/school/district initiative. We ask that you determine the work you would like to share and then decide on the strand in which it might fall. Descriptions are provided below.

Link
This strand offers opportunities to focus on collaboration among all members of the school community. These sessions will provide participants the chance to learn from each other while sharing insights and strategies that foster meaningful relationships in classrooms, schools, and districts. Presenters will emphasize linking ideas, practices, and people across school environments that promote a supportive teaching and learning experience. KINLCon offers sessions where participants can foster growth in any of these areas.

Lead
This strand offers opportunities where educators will be inspired and equipped to take on leadership roles within their school community. Through sessions focusing on innovative strategies, best practices, and tools for fostering effective teaching and learning, participants will learn how to lead efforts that enhance educational outcomes for all. Presenters will emphasize leadership happening at the classroom, school, district, and community levels. KINLCon offers sessions where participants can foster growth in any of these areas.

Learn
This strand offers opportunities to deepen your expertise in teaching and learning. These sessions will provide participants the opportunity to learn about effective classroom teaching practices, curriculum development, assessments, and strategies that support all learners. Presenters will emphasize actionable ideas and resources immediately applicable in classrooms and school communities. KINLCon offers sessions where participants can foster growth in any of these areas.
