Interpreting the Data to Inform Instruction with Indiana’s Department of Education

During this professional development workshop, IDOE will provide an update on the ILEARN Through-Year Assessment pilot, including guidance on how to interpret and use data reports to best meet the needs of individual students. Attendees will break into math and ELA groups to review data, utilize IDOE resources, and plan next steps for instruction and interventions. Attendees should come prepared with access to student ILEARN data in CRS and curricular maps or materials.

Who should attend?

Each district is encouraged to bring a team of up to 3 participants to engage in activities and breakout sessions throughout the day.  Teammate roles can vary, but are likely to be:

  • District administrators
  • Building administrators
  • Instructional coaches
  • Educators, Grades 3-8

What to Expect

BRING: Your student data (access to student data in CRS) and your device that allows you to access that information. Ensure that individuals have been set up to have access to CRS. Individuals can also bring their curricular and lesson planning materials, if desired.
