Lindsey Acton
Lindsey Acton was a high school English teacher for 15 years, most recently serving students in the Brownsburg Community School Corporation. For the last two-and-a-half years, Lindsey supported teachers all over the United States as the Director of Teacher Support for KDP, a National teacher support organization. Lindsey has traveled all over the country as a National Keynote Speaker, as a guest on the Dr. Phil show, and as an advocate for teacher support and retention. Lindsey is the author of Throwing Rocks, a book focused on educator trauma. Currently, Lindsey works with school corporations and organizations on staff development and teacher support. When she is not speaking, consulting, and supporting, Lindsey is a wife and a mom to her son, Andrew, who is eight years old. She enjoys running, reading, and cooking in her "free" time, and has a goal of completing her first marathon in 2024.
