CoSN GenAI Maturity Tool Training

CIESC, in partnership with AESA and CoSN, is launching a Gen AI workshop to help K-12 leaders assess readiness & plan AI implementation using the CoSN Maturity Tool.

Join us for an interactive workshop designed to help K-12 leaders navigate the evolving world of generative AI. Attendees will learn how to assess their districtโ€™s readiness, develop actionable roadmaps for AI adoption, and align strategies with instructional and operational goals. This session empowers participants to implement Gen AI thoughtfully, responsibly, and sustainably while connecting with a national network of educational leaders.ย 

Who should attend?

K-12 administrators, curriculum leaders, instructional technology directors, and staff from Education Service Agencies (ESAs) interested in supporting districtsโ€™ generative AI readiness will find benefit in attending this workshop.

What to Expect

Dates and Times: April 30 and May 1, 2026 from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM ET
Location: CIESC, Pyramid 3, Frontier Room

Over the course of two days, participants will gain:

  • Hands-on guidance using the CoSN/CGCS K-12 Gen AI Maturity Tool
  • Strategies for district-level AI implementation and roadmap development
  • Opportunities to network and share best practices with peers and experts
  • Insights into creating sustainable AI adoption plans that benefit students and staff
