  • Dr. Tenika Holden-Flynn

    Dr. Holden-Flynn began her career as a high school social studies teacher in Prince George’s County, Maryland, where she focused on increasing students' English Language Arts and Math proficiency rates by maximizing instructional time and providing strategic intervention for students. Her efforts have led students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels to increase their grade level proficiency by two years in one academic school year. She contributes her success to building strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and community partners. Dr. Holden-Flynn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Social Studies from Youngstown State University, a Master of Science in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University, and an Education Doctorate in Educational Administration and Policy from Howard University. Dr. Holden-Flynn is a proven leader who understands education, students, and the school landscape in Indianapolis and is deeply committed to ensuring equitable access to education for all students.
