Welcome, Dr. Christy Hilton

Join us in welcoming Christy Hilton as our new Professional Learning Specialist. We’re excited to utilize her wealth of knowledge and experience to develop engaging professional development programs and services for teachers, administrators, and professional organizations. Before joining CIESC, Christy served as the K-12/STEM Specialist for the Indiana Department of Education, an Indiana School Corporation Assistant Superintendent, a Director of HR, an Intermediate School Building Administrator, as the K-12 Science Specialist for the Indiana Department of Education and as a Middle School and High School Science teacher. She has served on professional development committees and presented at the local, state, and national levels. Christy plans to stay current on STEM research and best practices at a state and national level through research, collaboration and networking. She’ll use this knowledge to collaborate with the Professional Learning Team grow professional learning opportunities, specifically related to the fields of mathematics and STEM.
