This presentation will outline healthy early childhood brain development and define trauma and behavior as a function of the stress-response. Part of this discussion will focus on the importance of adult-child co-regulation and the need to engage in meaningful self-care. Multiple strategies to support the development of both adult and child self-regulation skills will be shared.
