Teacher Evaluation is more crucial than ever as we look to recruit and retain quality educators.  It is vital our teacher effectiveness model, classroom observations, feedback and coaching opportunities, and goal setting with our teaching staff is exceptional.  That quality begins with training the administrators within a district.  The Evaluation Rubric training you will receive at Keep Indiana Learning is second to none.  This training incorporates all of the key components of the teacher effectiveness rubric but also embeds work related to retaining our teacher talent through effective feedback, building teacher efficacy, and assisting teachers with stretch goals.

Self-Paced Teacher Evaluation Course –
FOR ADMINISTRATORS!

  • 30-days to complete the course
  • RISE Certification issued upon completion
  • 6 PGPs awarded
  • $5 enrollment fee

For the first time, the IDOE and Keep Indiana Learning have partnered to offer a self-paced training course for evaluator certification.  This course provides you with full certification of the Teacher Evaluation training upon completion of the 6 hours of self-paced training.  The course provides training videos, formative self-assessments, instructor feedback, and additional practices if needed.  If you can’t attend a full day workshop, this could be your answer!

Self-Paced Teacher Evaluation Rubric Awareness Course –
FOR TEACHERS!

  • $5 enrollment fee

For the first time, the IDOE and Keep Indiana Learning have partnered to offer a self-paced training course for teachers interested in learning about the teacher evaluation model.  This course provides you with information about the Indiana code related to teacher evaluation, a deep dive into the rubric used to evaluate teachers, how observations are scored, training videos, and tips for how teachers can become advocates for their own teaching during the evaluation process.  The 5 hour self-paced course provides 5 PGPs upon completion.
