This session will focus on encouraging students’ voices in project-based learning experiences with a focus on STEM. Participants will explore instructional strategies that examine the use of texts to build knowledge about STEM topics.

1. Examine the “what”, the “why”, and the “how” of project-based learning with a focus on STEM.
2. Explore instructional strategies to elevate student voice by reading, thinking, writing, and talking about complex text in order to build knowledge about STEM topics.
3. See real-world examples of project-based blended learning experiences.
