Comprehensive School Counseling Series
Are you looking to improve or refine your comprehensive school counseling program? Do you want to learn how to better align your program to the ASCA National Model and a Multi-Tiered, Multi-Domain System of Supports? Would you like support in using data-driven school counseling practices? Then look no further than Counselor Connect’s Comprehensive School Counseling Series! This three-part series will support participants as they evaluate and improve their school counseling program to best serve students while using data. Each virtual session will include content, time for collaboration, and between-training activities to support your learning. Grab your school counseling teammates and join the fun as you improve your program and student outcomes!
Intended Audience: Recommended participants include pre-service, beginning school counselors, and school counselors who have not previously completed a comprehensive school counseling process (such as RAMP). Each session will include a broad overview of comprehensive school counseling components, participant interaction and small group discussion, and action items for in-between sessions. Invite the other counselors in your district and participate together!
Participants are strongly encouraged to participate in all three sessions in this series. This will allow us to move through the content as a cohort and receive information that aligns to and builds from content covered in the previous session(s).
Session Dates: Dates for live (virtual) sessions will be determined by registered cohort members but will occur in November, February, and March. Upon registering for the series, participants will be polled for possible meeting dates. Dates and times will be selected using this feedback.
Please note that if we don’t reach a minimum number of registrants, this series will not be held.
Professional Growth Plan (PGP) Points
- Participants will earn 5 PGP points for attending all three 90 minute virtual sessions.
- Participants may earn additional PGP points for completing assigned tasks in between sessions.
